Against Modern Environmentalism

My main criticism of modern environmentalism lays in the following points:

1. Environmentalists think that they can predict the future

The world is a complex system that exhibits chaotic behavior. Good luck making any long term prediction.

2. Environmentalists think that they can make an impact on the future

Well… if you can’t predict it…

3. Environmentalists think that conflict is an aberration and that we can all have fun together

Totally in line with past human history. So, who’s going to enforce environmental limits?

4. Environmentalists are neurotic

I completely understand your existential panic. But putting your hands in trash and shit doesn’t absolve your sins.

To conclude: modern environmentalism is nonsense, not fun, and neurotic. Reminds me of any religion. Personally, I’d rather we die like the dinosaurs did.
